Nice clean work, great pictures, nice chrome, nice legs also, and next time try to smile a bit when taking pictures, lol :D, kidding aside, great job, I need to get mine setup also, as soon as warmer weather hits us up here. But I will have no choice but to put the display in my vent or hide the power and LED's somewhere.

LOL, yeah it's kinda like one of those distorted carnival mirrors. I'm guessing radar detectors are illegal in your province. The vent would be a nice place to hide the display because you could just shut the vent and hide it if you get pulled over. You could also rout the display through the windshield pillar and mount it on your visor.

I just got the front detector for now, not sure if I'm going to install the laser shifter add-on. I've had just about every radar that Escort has made and I think this one is one of the best because I hated the windshield mounted ones. The only downfall is having to go through the firewall. I just took the clutch plate off and drilled through that plate. That way, if I ever want to sell the truck, I'll just remover the detector assembly and install a new plate.

On my truck, where the wire harness goes through the firewall there is a small plug in the rubber gasket the protects the whole harness, its like a small nipple that you can use to pass a few wires, its on the underside, if you lift the wire harness you will see it. I used it to pass my PIAA light switch wire off my bully bar. I had issues in doing that hole in the firewall thing also, and then I stumbled on that nipple, I like nipples so figured what it was and used it. :D but ya, replace the plate and good as new if you sell, good thought

oh, Quebec, no go for Detectors lol

Also not sure if I will put the rear detector on either, this week end i'm installing the backup OEM mopar sensor kit and might look at how i could set it up while i am there.
