I have an 04 Hemi and i wanted to do true dual exuast with an H-Pipe but the guys I took it to say that I cant because of the Gas tank. So i need help guys i need pictures or details of builds that yall have done with true duals. Also I am thinking of doing a Y pipe build but Im not sure what it would benefit. I need diameter sizes and brands if you can please. Also will i benefit more from true duals than from a Y pipe????? Please help out i would greatly appreciate it.

run the duals to the same side..with H pipe...

or do what i did..duals all the way to muffler..then dual in/single out

It's a tight squeeze but it can be done, as you can see ^^^^ with fast freddie's truck. A lot of shops won't tackle the job, especially if all they do is slap on pre-made kits on vehicles.

That ^^^^ setup takes some thought...that may be beyond some installers.

I wanted the dual look but didn't necessarily see any advantage to going to a true dual so I went with a single in / dual out muffler. Picture Freddie's muffler turned the other direction.

or why not single in dual out muffler. true duals won't make that much of a difference on a truck that size.

yeah thats what i wanted to do but the thing is that for the the H pipe to work properly it must be placed where there is the same amount of length of pipe on each side. also if both pipes where on the same side the actual H pipe would be about 6 to 8 inches and i dont think it would work properly. Im thinking of just running 2.5 pipes from the cats to a y pipe and 3 inch straight to a 3 inch SI/SO muffler. Im just gonna dump them so im not looking to have two pipes poking out of my truck.
