Ok its time to do the pipes... I like the magna-flow y pipe from the manifold into one then dual out. However has anyone done true duals off the manifold piping in to a 2in/2out muffler then dual out??? Im lookin for performance dont care about sound. Ive had straights and mufflers of all sorts so i know whats loud an all etc.

Also im not lookin at headers yet since they cost an arm/leg and no tuners to maximize them.

Thanx guys. Please give feed back

That muffler would be a good setup and act like an X-pipe to equalize the sides....not sure if anyone has done it yet, but there is always a first!
I was considering the idea until I talked to the dealer. They said it would void by engine warranty because you are modifying the catalytic conv pipe. I got the extended warranty, so im not looking to void it. What they told me seems off, but I wasn't gonna push it.
I will let you know, i already ordered the muffler and as soon as it comes in it will be installed, duals into a Tru-X magnaflow and stock duals out, muffler will be here on the 3rd. Also they cant say that it would just void the warranty because of the duals. they would have to prove the exhaust is the cause of whatever problem. Correct me if im wrong, but if you cut off from the Y pipe to the muffler, there is not a cat in there. so i dont think thats could be their case either
Your dealer shot you a line of bull. Yeah i did see that magnaflow had a 2in/2out muffler with a "crossover built in. I think i may try that
I think the fuel tank got in the way when one of the other guys was attempting to run true duals, either way good luck!

Damn dealers...they spout that crap all the time but it seems the Dodge management hasn't trained them on what the LAW allows.

You can do this as long as you have functioning O2 sensors and cats on both sides. You should not get any codes. Secondly, there is a routing problem due to the fuel tank so you have to figure out placement of the x-pipe, inlet pipes and mufflers all on one side.

One option to consider is to replace your factory Y-pipe with a nice, smooth, mandrel bent Magnaflow piece, then install a single in / dual out Magnaflow muffler and new tailpipes.

You won't have to mess with cats or the sensor issue going that route.
Theres more than enough room to run true duals side by side in place of whre the stock exhaust is
C'mon now all you guys who modded exhaust dont have any more input than this? Lol
Cant wait to see how the true duals turn out. I have the maggy y pipe and maggy 14" with no resonator now. It's been on for about a year now and just aint cutting it anymore. I also want to do true duals. Was thinking dual aeroturbines. Any idea or help on this setup???

Trying to squeeze every bit of power out of the '11 since there aint a tuner. Fastman TB and Vararam are on the way, just need a better exhaust setup to compliment my mods :D
as soon as it comes in i will post pictures and a video of how it sounds
So i spoke to the man who does my exhaust on all my vehicles and he laughed when i pulled up in different one lol

He likes the idea of getting the 2in/2out cross over muffler then duals out however neither of us have any idea how this will sound so in a week or so i will let yall know
I just had the stock muffler replaced with a magnaflow muffler...sounds good except when cruising down the road and and the eco kicks in..the it sounds a little annoying..like a 4 cylinder with a fart can muffler on it..I hope they come out with the programmer soon that will allow us to cut that off if we wish to..

2 AT 3030s would sound pretty AMAZING run a magnaflow x pipe up there or an spintech X!!!

Magnaflow pn 10791
Spintech pn dx25n

^ where would the placement work for the x pipe and the AT3030s?
You could put the X under the passenger front seat, running two pipes from each cat to the x and put the mufflers back where the stock one would go...then separate pipes to the tips! It would sound insane!!!
Spintech also has some pretty BA sounding mufflers, check this video out...one of my favorite Ram exhausts!

OMFG that sounds amazing!! Whats the setup on that ram??

I like mine but it sounds like every other truck. Want something dofferent and louder of course! Never heard spintech or aeros in person. Only heard the aeros on the computer and they sound AMAZING!!

So just put the x pipe about where my y pipe is now and the the aeros next to each other where my current maggy is? I just dont trust a shop around here to do it. I definately dont want to lose any power, thats my biggest concern and what im afraid of. I think it'll be plenty loud and be the sound I'm lookin for...
The grey ram is a y pipe into a single 6000 series spintech super pro street. Check out their site! Its expensive but good!
