Been trying to find a wiring diagram for the exterior mirrors. replaced the org with the extendable mirrors for trailer towing, however, they didn,t come with the courtesy light, and i miss it. Wiring should still be in a plug. Any ideas. thanks JC :doh:

I would like to have a wiring diagram for this too. I replaced my non courtesy light mirrors with some factory mirrors with the light, after installing the lights dont work

I was told by the dealership it could not be done....but I'm not sure if I believe them, someone MUST know, I have the same issues with my mirror swap

I have heard that you have to have the sales codes added for the signals/puddle lamps if your truck didn't have them originally. This is something that would need to be done by a somewhat knowledgeable tech at a dealership. I know when I talked to the dealership about adding codes for my EVIC cluster/steering wheel controls, the tech said they were available and I am planning on having them added so that when I get my towing mirrors they will hopefully work.

Bought my 2011 Ram in June of 2011. Window sticker said it had the iiluminated puddle mirrors but theye werent on the truck. After 5 months for this and other issues the parts were ordered and installed in Dec of 2011 but they have yet to get the proper sales code from Dodge to get them to actually illuminate. So I'm still waiting!!!

Anybody have an update on this or did anybody figure out the wiring? I had the mirrors added by the stealership and they told me the wiring isn't even in the door for the mirrors so they couldn't connect the puddle lamps at all. Wondering if there is an additional pigtail that I need to get to connect from the door module to the mirror pigtail.

Does anybody know?
