I've had my truck for little over a week now and absolutely LOVE it!!!! Traded off my 2000 f150. Question is: Does the factory rs for my RAM have a "valet" mode?? My old truck had a viper rs that did and I used it alot especially in winter. I could push the rs button and it would activate to let you take the key out of the ignition and utilize the keyless entry remote while you go inside gas station or something. Thanks in advance for any insight to this!!!

The "hard key" is inside the fob. There is a sliding switch on the face of the fob that slides leaving the hard key on the ring and remoter comes off. The key opens the door and glove box, you hand the fob to the valet. Kind of awkward at frist getting the key out and its like cool.

No it doesn't have a valet mode.

I wonder if there is an add-on module to get it to work? Not a real big deal but kinda handy sometimes.

I would think that the only way there could be some kind of module available if it were an option on some trucks. I see no where in the manual where such a feature exists so it's likely there's no provision for it.
