Used the camper for the first time the Labor day weekend. Towed it to Wildwood from my house, it's about 2 hrs away. My camper is a 32ft Keystone Laredo which weighs, loaded around 7500lbs. I'm using a Blue Ox weight distributing hitch, which keeps my truck and camper nice and level. Truck towed it with minimal effort (in 95* Florida heat, it was turning around 1900rpm at 65mph on I75, oil temp got up to 230* (I'll be putting synthetic in at the next oil change). I noticed some buffeting when semi's would pass. Truck is a 2013 5.7 Hemi with 3.55 gears.

What's the tongue weight on your camper?
Tongue weight is 830lbs, cargo capacity of my truck is just shy of 1500lbs. Little heavier than I wanted but the WDH removed the sag and makes for much better towing. We run with just the wife and I in the truck, everything else is in the camper.
I actually slowed down to 60mph about halfway through. MPG went up a full mile to the gallon and seemed more stable.
