Well, since the truck has been painted I never waxed it till today, its nice out so got a nice wash and wax as well as glass waxed from rain-x....
Nice and clean and shiney except the hood bothers me. It seens dirt and grime is stuck on the hood, it feels smooth by hand but when rubbing a towel over it, it has a scratchy feel like sandpaper in a way but everything buffs nicely and feels good by bare hands....so I think after the winter or if we get another nice weather spell, I am going to clay bar the truck and wax it again.... guess I took too long to wax it before the bad weather and salt already?

I usually use a clay bar after the winter.... Up here (Toronto Canada area) they use a "Brine" on the roads and it really tears up a paint/Wax job quickly. Everyone has a favourite when it comes to clay bars.... Mine is the ICE Turtlewax Clay Bar Liquid.... Its cheap, easy to find, easy to use. FWIW... Good luck

I agree with the ice products, I just used the turtle wax 2000 I had left for the time being, as I am out of everything for now... But in the spring I will give it a once over with the good stuff so I am ready for the shows.
