flashing LED issue

I just got the map lights and dome lights I ordered from superbrightleds.com. i installed the lights and they look great, however when I pressed the map light to turn it on it flashes....then i pushed the other map light...it did the same thing....and then the dome light......again same thing. WTF?? I took one of the map lights out and rotated it 180 degrees and it still does the same thing. they work fine though when i unlock my truck and open the door or just click the dome light wheel over to turn them on..but when i want to manually turn them on they start flashing about every half second. but its not a fast flas like a strobe.
