I have 2"x 4" lowering kit on it. I relocated the bar with the kit and it was still wobbly at high speeds. I just thought, why not, and flipped the track bar. It's night and day. Has anyone else done/heard of this?
I may be confused, there's two bars. One is a straight tube that gets relocated with the kit. I believe that is the panhard bar. The other is a bar with a few bends in it, this is what I'm referring to. I believe it is the track bar, may be the sway bar, may be the same thing? Any way I disconnected the endliks and the two mounting brackets on the axle and simply flipped it over. Meaning the end that was on the right is now on the left. Can you explain what you did to flip the trackbar? Swap it end for end or move it in relation to the rear axle housing? If you lowered the rear end, did you have the caster adjusted or checked?
And that's what the relocation bracket that comes with the kit is for, to keep the wheel placement in the center of the well. If that's what you mean by casterI may be confused, there's two bars. If you give me a few, I'll get you a PicAnd that's what the relocation bracket that comes with the kit is for, to keep the wheel placement in the center of the well. If that's what you mean by caster
Symmetrical to the fact that the bolt holes line up on either side but not to the fact that the big bend in the middle needs to be pushed up to bolt it to the axle. Now the bend, which normally is parralel with the truck is almost perpendicularThe sway bar is also symmetrical.
It took quite a bit of rotational force to get it to attach to the axle
