You ever figure something out ? Debating the Super 40. Nervous about if being raspy

I've had my Super 40 on my 4.7L V8 for 2 years now and still getting compliments on the sound. It's a nice low grumble and just loud enough. Sometimes I wish it was a little louder, then responsible me says it's just fine.
