Looks like most of the ebay Foglight kits for the '04 Ram are the lamps only. Do I need to buy the bezels as well?

Sorry for such a noob question. I'm new to the Ram and just trying to find my way around. :i_redface:

You only need the lamps because you remove the bezels in that spot now so that you can then have fog lights. Its a very simple install. I've done it on other cars before.

Ok. It was just a bit confusing because most of the ebay kits just show the lamp. But the actual Mopar kits show bezels that fit around the lamps.

While I've got you on the line...are these trucks partially pre-wired? The Mopar kits seem to include everything, but don't show the pig-tails that plug in the the lamps themselves. That leads me to believe that the lamp connections may already be there.

Unfortunately the truck belongs to my sister and she lives an hour away. So I can't check it out to see. She just said "I want fog lights"....and that leaves me to do the foot-work.

If you purchase a complete kit, it should include new foglamps, new bezels, a new dash switch and a harness for the bumper.

The switch is a direct replacement for your current switch. The harness has the connectors to plug into both lights and and the connector that plugs into a plug mounted on the inner fender on the drivers side.

The lights bolt right in as well and the new bezels simply snap in place.

Very simple upgrade and the Mopar kit is bulletproof if you follow the installations.

Ok...got the kit in today. Everything looks good...should be easy to install. I don't have access to the truck right now to check so I have a quick question. There are no bolts with the kit to mount the lamps. Are the bolts already in the foglamp holes? If not I'll just buy some stainless steel bolts at the hardware store. Just wanted to have everything ready as my sister is driving up this weekend for a visit.

It should have come with bolts. I'd take the safe path and pick up some stainless bolts just to be sure.

Other than not having the bolts, the kit was fine. The aftermarket bezels fit perfectly too...no gaps and what-not. My sister's happy with 'em...so that's all that matters.
