I don't have an answer to your question but just had to say, that is one of the nicest looking ST's I've seen, sweet truck man, like what you've done with it!

No problem man and something I just thought about, do you have a lift/level on your truck? After one of the hurricanes here, I went through some water that was deep enough for the mud line on the back end of my truck to be above the body line but it was dark so I didn't actually measure it, but my truck is still stock height and I had no damage from it.

No not yet. I plan on going bilstein 5100 (set to 2" or max on front) all around with a 1" spacer in rear. Hopefully i can do this in the next few months. Need an extra $500 to get this done not to mention getting it realigned. Im wanting to be able to fit 34s after that if not 33's will do. Next when i get an extra 800 to a 1k laying around im thinking 4.10 in the difs.(dont want 4.56 because i still want some top end) Then later down the road a 3" body lift but that may be a year or so from now if ever.

I have no idea how deep the water was I went through one day till I was in it...but I can tell you on the 4th gen, the line on the bottom of the door...well, the mud line was above that.

It came up to the badges on the tailgate. I went slow, it was a muddy water hole...quite fun/scary.

Got home, checked all my fluids, all were fine. But my rear bumper had mud/grass all on top of it. To this day I am amazed not a DROP of water got into the interior. The doors on these trucks seal really well.

I dont know the numbers off hand, but I remember reading the numbers for a stock truck in the owners manual, it can actually get in really deep!

I'll go look em up and edit my post.

EDIT

The 2009 manual did not have any numbers, but the 2010, 2011 and 2012 manuals had this to say.

Water Fording Characteristics
Water fording characteristic is the vehicle’s ability to cross
a body of still water, where the powertrain and drivetrain
are safe from water ingestion. This vehicle has high water
fording characteristics with the ability to cross a pool of
water, without stopping, 24 inches deep at a maximum
speed of 10 mph (16 km/h) and a pool of water 30 inches
deep at a maximum speed of 5 mph (8 km/h), both with
an entrance ramp angle of 1.3 degrees.
So I dont know if all 4th gens are the same, but that should give you an idea.
