2012 Larimee: I am on my second front bumper under warrenty with rust spots showing in less than 4 months. Is anyone else having similar issues? The factory side steps seam to be having the same issue. Doest appear that there are any recalls on these items yet. Truck has been rust proofed by Krown as well. Andrew

I am having the same issue on my 2012. I'v had it for 13 months, Krown rust proofed twice. I have not yet brought it to the dealer, will point it out at next oil change(have free lifetime oil changes). I am curious as to what they will do. Not sure if it applies to our model year though.

My 2012 Laramie's chrome bumpers seem fine so far but I did notice a few specks of rust starting on the step bars, right behind the black plastic anti-slip pads. I'll know more in the spring when I can do a thorough clean and inspection. This road salt and sand is driving me crazy!!

Yes, I have a 2012 outdoorsman. My front bumper is peppered with rust all over. Had it painted once. The dealer refuses to do anything about it. They say it's rock chips causing it. Funny, there are lots of trucks around that are a lot older with no rust on their bumpers. Theses trucks drive on the same highway everyday. Note: I also purchased rust protection. They said the bumpers are not covered. I am very unhappy and the look of my front bumper is embarrassing..
