hey guys, so as it starts, all winter i have not had 4wd, now thats not too much of a problem as i have skills for feathering it, and worse came to worse i had chains. now if i came into whatever i was heading into and downshifted to create a vaccum it worked as long as i didnt back off the gas, and when i did it dissengaged, then i wiggled the vaccum lines and suprise my 4wd worked, but the catch is, the front diff wont dissengage.... any ideas guys?
transfer case is dissengaged (so to say, it still turns cuz of the diff) i have tried tapping the actuator, driving back and forth, shifting all into neutral and letting it roll, and a few other things short of pulling it, milage is killing me and right after i put my summers back on to and started to get my milage back

found the problem, the splines have little burrs on them, it came from the diff partially engageing when i downshifted and used awd to climb something, it must not have engaged fully when doing this, solution?
pull axle shafts and re-cut splines with a file
