After some trailer-related adventures, I have to replace a couple of the fuses related to trailer lighting. One is the small yellow 20 amp, the other is a larger, square blue 20 amp. I swung by Pep Boys but the ones they had that might work are actually too large for the opening. I don't want to install fuses with a hammer.

So where can I buy these fuses - more specifically, can I get them from a non-dealer outfit? I fear that if these fuses are new and/or vehicle-specific that they will be in limited supply or relatively expensive. I need to replace the blown ones and get a couple spares, I just don't want to spend $50 for a small handful of small fuses.

Fuses

I ran into the same problem 2 weeks ago.

The dealer didn't have them and would not pull one from a truck on the lot.

He ordered the fuses and I had them the next day, twice the cost of Car Quest. I had to ask the Car Quest manager to order them in for me. I was in the same store yesterday where he has informed me that they will now be stocking this type of Micro fuse.

The issue is that the fuses are new, but if you talk to your local parts supplier, he will order them in and stock them.

The fuses are made by Little Fuse and Walmart has exclusive rights to order and sell them.
