I know I get a grinding noise when shifting from reverse to park after backing up my hill (where I park the truck ) in 4WD Low.....

To avoid it I shift to neutral first and then back to park and no noise.

But have not noticed any noises yet on level ground in 2WD.

my 11 1500 4x4 has no grinding noise, nor do i think there should be any, might be time to visit the dealer.

are the trans. the same. having issue's with the rearend and trans. on my 012 , truck has 1200 miles. is there any adjust on the trans. shifting from park to reverse or drive i get a grinding noise

You shouldn't be getting any grinding noise. You might get a noise shifting into or out of 4 low but that's normal. As mentioned I'd get into the dealership and have it checked out.
