I live in the Cincinnati, OH area. With 18,000 miles on it since purchase new 18 months ago, my 2WD truck started to show some fluid leaking at the pinion seal right about the time I thought I was hearing some rumbling in turns when first driving out on a cold morning.

I took it in on the Thursday before New Year's and had the guys at Jake Sweeney Dodge check it out. Tom Watson was very helpful, looked underneath and confirmed, yep, seal leaking, will fix under warranty...

The next day, Friday, I got a call from Tom - they road tested, confirmed noise from rear end on accel/decel, was way beyond a simple seal replacement, would need a teardown/inspection/rebuild of rear end. I authorized this - was informed they may have to order parts, etc... could take several days in shop. Told him no problem for me as I wouldn't need it until Tuesday, Jan 3rd.

Well, I got a call on Monday, the 2nd - truck done and ready to be picked up. They replaced all bearings and seals in the rear end, gears were not harmed, reset everything to spec - all under warranty - zero due from me. I picked it up that afternoon and it seems to be leak-free, no noise from rear - a good repair.

They had looked at my daughter's 2001 Jeep Cherokee (with only 161,000 miles on it - just getting broken in!) and solved an emissions issue for us at a fair price back in the fall - good experience then as well.

So...if you are in need of service in this area, these guys seem to be on the level and I have had good experiences with them. If you are like me and like to walk the lot to look at the new iron, the Ram side of the dealership is in the far back of the building - but service is all done up front, drive in right off of Kemper Road in the Tri-County Mall area. They seem to like having a few of those awesome Charger 392's on the lot - nice to look at!

Glad to hear there ARE good service shops out there!!!
Seems all you read here is bitching about them. Make sure you let the top brass at the dealer know. They need an "atta boy" from time to time.

you should call the Chrysler customer service number and tell them who you worked with and that you had a great experience.
