Congrats on getting one. It's hard to describe you have to experience the difference to appreciate it. Which tunes have you tried ?

The tune it is on 87 octane. I will try 91 this Friday.I set my tire size to 36.5" and wow this thing gets up!! I am getting 17.5 mpg on hwy and before i was lucky to get 15 mpg. The take off from a stop is crazy. Punching it from 70 mph to 100mph it puts you back in the seat lol. This is so worth the money.

:smileup: Congrats welcome to the fun side! I got my Cortex about a month ago and have seen about 1.5 mpg better and love the power. I run 87 tune with mds off. My mileage actually went up without mds.

Thanks!! How do you turn the MDS off? I can't find that option in mine. I can't find the time trials from 0-60 either

The setting should be under the same list where you adjusted your tire size. Mine has a list of several things and it was titled "MDS Disable" I believe. You click ok the yes to disable.

Ok I need gas and was thinking getting 91 octane and try the 91 tune out. So when I do this do I set it back to stock and then upload the 91 tune?

That's what I did because I was unsure myself. I had the 91 tune on for a short time but i noticed the engine would rev higher at cold start up and it annoyed me. It doesnt do it on 87. Keep us posted on your results.

Ok well sence my truck has 37's I set the tire size so my spedo would be right for one option. I set the tune for 87 octane and im running 89 octane. It takes off faster and I am getting 17.5 mpg which I havnt seen gas milage like this sence it was stock. So ya a tuner is really nice to have.

I have the DSP and felt the power immediately, but when i shut it off the few times i went back to the dealer, that's when you really notice the difference. enjoy!
