I got 20% over factory tint on back windows and 20% on front windows with 70% 3m crystalline on windshield. I love it. Top one is before tint, bottom 2 are with tint

I love it tinted..The installer did a great job, no bubbles or imperfections...helps a lot with heat and does not interfere with my vision at night.

This thread motivated me to talk to me tint guy about tinting the windshield. The rest of my windows are already tinted. He said on a full size truck like ours he normally gets $200+ to do the windshield alone. I've been going to him for a while and he said he would do mine in 65% and then reapply the darker strip across the top for around $150. I'm still undecided as I have other costly truck irons in the fire at the moment, lol.

I pd $475 for all the windows...They still owe me the eyebrow strip, they wanted to wait to put that on until the windshield piece was dry

Those prices sound about right to me. The windshield actually costs about as much as all of the other windows combined, lol.

yep, the guy had quoted me 200 for just the windshield alone with the crystalline. Going tomm to get the eyebrow strip put on...will post a pic when done

Yeah that windshield is really tough, that's why you pay a premium. I'm sure it helps though on these trucks with the HUGE windshields. Looks good man. Those side steps are cool too, never seen those.

I have been teetering back and forth on getting my windshield done in 65%. My installer has it on the windshield of his Taco and it looks good. My wallet is telling me not to though because I've got two other vehicles that will need tires within the next few months, lol.

Sounds like prices have gone up substantially. I would of thought around $225 in my neck of the woods.
