for 3.92's/LSD install!:SHOCKED::smileup::smileup::smileup: Coming from the 3:55 it will be a much welcome change. Apparently she got sticker shock when she enquired. Intially the dealer thought it was a 2-wheel-drive, so they quoted her less than $1,000. When she explained that it was a 4x4, the price jumped substantially.

This will allow me to spank Sean in the upcoming race that will ensue this August...4.7 vs. 4.7...

Parts are all Mopar so I can keep my Lifetime Warranty. Cant go 4:10 without going aftermarket, and even then, I am not sure anyone makes a 4:10 for the front diff carrier on a 4wd 4th gen ram. 4:10 is too much anyway, as I am not lifted w/big tires, nor will I be anytime soon with fuel prices headed where they are.

3:92 is enough to pull the boat, the beater car when I move, and make it a little quicker with less throttle nessecary to move around town. Since most of my driving is on military bases, rarely exceeding 25-35mpg and stop signs/lights every few hundred feet, the 3:92 might actually improve my fuel economy.

Wifey picked up the truck, Says it has (and I quote): "Balls for days" . New 3:92 gears (from 3:55/open diffs) with Limited Slip.

She actually said it was worth the ~$2,100. She never says mods are worth money. Oh sweet Jesus...this could get expensive. I have created a monster.
