Has anyone out there personally fixed or done anything about their hemi tick? I've read it can be several things from lifters to broken exhaust manifold bolt resulting in an exhaust leak sounding like a tick to a bearing going bad a pulley. I am 99.99% sure it's in the passenger side of the motor. I've head of people just replacing the lifters and I've also heard of putting 6.1 hemi lifters in their 5.7s. Not going to take it to a shop and have it done when I can do it myself for pennies on the dollar. Just wondering what everyone has done or if they have done anything at all? And if you use the 6.1 lifters if you have to replace anything else with 6.1 parts.

my dads 4.7 has the same problem ive been told it is dirty lifters

i had ticks on pass side, dealer changed my manifols, manifold gasket and the bolts and everything in fine now
