I refused to get a GM vehicle just because they have Onstar. Have a friend stopped on the way home, had one beer, headed back on home. Hit a deeer two miles out of town, got out to look at the damage and was not in the vehicle when Onstar called. Deputy was on scene before he got back in the car. Got nailed for OWI for 0.01 over.

I have live 46 years without needing it, can't say I will need it for another 46. Even free having someone with ability to track me that easy is unsettling to me.
