Good day all! I'm curious to know if there's a way to make my fog lights stay on when I turn on my high beams. I've been told GM has this availability but I can't find anything for my truck.
From what I looked up, only Oklahoma, California and Montana have specifically outline statutes against running fog lights on a non-foggy night but hey, I live in Oklahoma and knock on wood, nobody's screwed with me as of yet for having my fog lights on with my highbeams. In most states if not all states by now it is illegal to do. Especially if the state has a mandatory vehicle safety inspection.
There's also another way, Google Ram Tazer. With Alpha OBD, you can use practically any android phone or tablet, but with that, you'll have to go on Amazon and buy you a Bluetooth dongle that plugs into your OBD port- if you go to www.alfaobd.com, it'll tell you what all you need or, you can use a Windows PC as well.Neat! I'll have to look into that! Thanks!
Well, at least the good thing is, Alpha OBD and even that Ram Tazer make it easy to re-enable and then disable the fog light dropout after your annual inspection. Not legal in PA either. Fog lights have to turn off with the high beams on. Failed state safety inspection for it once when I had added aftermarket fog lights.
What Amazon review are you referring to and what is it you're saying Amazon says won't work on a Ram?Amazon review states it does not work on Ram.
