hi i have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 5.9l .... when the truck is warmed up it does not blow that hot of air into the cab .... once i dirve it evens gets colder ... what could be the problem ... thanks

Check for a vacuum leak. The flaps on the heating system are controlled by vacuum, as the engine accelerates the engine naturally loses vacuum.

Other than that, all I can think of is a blocked heater core but that usually creates more heat as the engine accelerates.

With the engine at temp, with the heat on...feel the heater hoses at the firewall, in and out. If hot in, cold out you have a bad/blocked heater core.

If not that, could be water pump, I've seen water pump impellers so badly corroded they no longer pump water. If this was the case, I would suspect you would know by now though...just a guess.

I would have to agree with these two...check to make sure your heater core is not blocked. Flushing it out either way probably wouldn't be a bad idea.
