Ok, so I got a friend that owes me $120 dollars and he only has money on his credit card and said he will buy me something online that I want... Im kinda stuck on what I want him to get me??

I found some black housing headlights for - $120
wind deflector and headlight bulbs - about $110
HIDS (kinda worried about getting some bad ones though. I hear a lot of stories on them on our 4th Gens)
weather teh floor mats -$100

what should I have him get me.

I am all about the HID's. I get mine here most of the time. I have bought 4 sets from these guys for 4 different cars, and even buy them for family sometimes as gifts. The prices are ok, but the quality is amazing. I have yet to get a bad set.

Call then and ask for steve, tell him ArmyofOne from ClubLexus sent you. He will hook you up.

I wouldn't do this to even my worst enemy. Typically Credit Card companies will charge the absolute maximum they can by law (29.99%) interest on cash advances. NOT cool unless you are trying to screw the guy.

My thing is, if he is hurting for money that bad, would I be the better man and just forgive the debt? Depending on the situation I might. He somehow (whatever the reason's) got himself into a situation where he has to borrow money to pay a debt, and thats never a good thing, It's a very hard cycle to break out of.

You've got a friend thats apparently fallen on some hard times and is in need. The right thing to do would be forgive the debt.
He does have money, but told me he would rather pay me by buying me something online cause we are both deployed at the moment and he is stationed somewhere else from me. I just thought that he didnt have the money.

the site is kind of confusing? I see you have the same headlights as I do on my truck, which ones did you order, there are three different kinds and I dont see our size bulbs?
I like the HID's but make sure you get a good set. They are not something you want to cheap out on. Other than that, I would go for the mats. The weather tech ones are great during the winter and keep all the snow, water, and mud off you floor. I am pretty anal about keeping my truck clean though so those types of accessories always hold appeal for me.

thats what i was thinking too. I really want some HIDs but Im afraid that something is going to happen with them since there are obviously so many problems with our 4th gens.
weather tech floor mats. simple, can't be messed in shipping and install is easy. lol
ok, so it looks like floor mats then... anyone know where the best place to order them is from? Cheapest I can find so far is from carid.com???

On that site, you just have to select your headlights, the 2 or 4. Then it shows you all the fitments - at least it did for me.

As for the mats, I personally like these, but autoanything.com has a bunch of different sets which can be found here. (You will have to change your vehicle, I still have it set to my ram).

And as far as I remember, if you can find them cheaper PM [email protected] and he will price match and usually gives some sort of discount.
I sometimes question the quality of these aftermarket so called HID bulbs. I am quite certain they are not HID's as they require ballasts/igniters ahead of them and the bulbs are dramatically different and the reflectors themselves are designed differently than that of a regular Halogen or other gas

I think these are mostly not a good way to spend your money, they may well put out a different light spectrum but they don't actually put out any more light or provide better vision

one thing they do a lot is annoy the hell out of oncoming traffic
I agree, low dollar HID's suck. Get the floor mats.
I do the headlight covers if it were me... but purely a personal opinion as I think they would look good on your truck.
