What up Z? So I have 2010 Ram with the 5.7 obviously. I am using the Superchips Cortex tuner in my truck currently. I have searched just about everywhere and have yet to receive a definitive answer. My question is, what is the best fan setting to use when tuning with a stock Tstat. I will be towing my 17' boat 1500 miles in about a week so please keep that in mind when helping me out. I appreciate the help in advance.

You should set the fan to come on about 7-10º above your T-stat open temp.
If you're running a stock T stat its probably where it needs to be already.

"Most" people making lower fan on adjustments are due to running a 180º T-stat.

Thanks man! Are there any side effects or shortcomings that you know of with the 180 Tstat? I am anal about vehicles and just trying to find everything I can.
