I am by no means a guru, but I had the same problem when I got my truck home and called Sirius (as the radio instructed me to do) and had them set up my subscription. They had me pull into the driveway with a clear view of the sky, turn the truck on, and turn the radio to the Sirius input. Nothing happened. They tried several things on their end, and after exhausting all of their options, they instructed me to take it to the Dodge dealer.
Turned out that the whole Sirius receiver was fried. Kapoot. They had to order me a new one, which took a few days, and then install it, which took about 40 minutes. Apparently it's like a $500 part, according to the guy who installed it for me. Thank God for a warranty. They also told me that from time to time, the satellite radio antennas will go bad.
