Hello i have a 2011 Ram hemi and for some reason the engine makes a lot of vavle train noise. Like the truck has sticky valves. I can really notice it when i going up a hill at 2-3K with 10% throttle next to a center devider like on a freeway on ramp. My truck has only 9,500 miles on it i always change my oil at 3,000 with mobil 1 5w20 every time. Dealer says it's ok but it sure does not sound good. What are your thoughts?

i took my truck in for the same issue and i took the tech on a ride and he told me that what I'm hearing is the solenoids firing in the transmission. I'm not entirely sure I believe him but all my fluids are topped off and everything is working properly.

Same here .my Express sounds like a car with 100,000 miles on it and it has less than 4000,took it in to dealer yesterday and they did a flash update tsb 18-046-11,now it runs way better, but still noisy...

My 08 is the same way at low rpm or just cruising down the highway. drives me nuts. i had the 91 tune in it and pulled it out until spring. it got a little better by doing that. hopefully its just the winter fuel causing the problem. it sounded like the rocker arms beatn the hell out of the valves. if i hit the throttle hard it went away, kind of weird.

Hemi valve trains are loud...mine sounds the same at 211k miles as it did at 20 miles...I don't sweat it..

I hate my hot idle hemi tick, dodge should have fixed this or come out with a recall. Our new trucks should not sound like this.
