I followed a car yesterday poking along at 50mph. Long straight stretch, no oncoming traffic so I punched it to the floor to pass. Holy sh*T !!! It probably would have spun the tires if the TC was off. I can't believe how much power this heavy QC has compared to my 06 QC. 4900 miles on it now by the way. 11mpg in town 16-19.5 on a 120 mile trip yesterday. I'm happy:smileup:

I Agree, I've been saying the same thing about these Hemi's since I first got mine almost 2 months ago now.... I've never hit the gas and thought "Gee I wish there was more get up and go".... It's there when I need it, and doesn't disappoint. :)

YEEEEEHAWWWWWWW.... lol

The 2009+ 5.7 Eagle Hemi have very high flowing heads with flow numbers comparable to the 6.1 Hemi. The VVT helps keep that torque curve flat too plus the 10.5 vs 9.6 compression ratio helps too.

You should try this same deal in a Charger.. my wife's Charger puts out 368HP and with that "little car" push the gas in that and go cat go.. BTW mods on the car are CIA, Diablo, 180 t-stat so maybe about 10 more ponies

Wasnt that impressed with my '11 Charger RT. Maybe it was just the crappy 5-speed tranny I'm not sure. The rest of the car was awesome though. (mine was pretty much loaded)

JMR, do you have the specs on the cams for the 345 and 390 horse Hemi's? That exhaust port just does not seem give up!
