It's a common problem with HID's and the Dodge Ram can bus system. Several fixes have been proposed (cancellers, resistors, capacitors, relays) and in some cases they work.
I've tried all of those harness arrangements and 3 different HID kits with no success. However, I have been told the sets sold by RetroSolutions work. I guess that's the kit I will be trying next!
