i just recently bought my truck so i still dont know everything about it, so if this is a stupid question i apologize. i have quad style headlights, when i turn my high beams do my low beams stay on as well? if this is true, then if i put HIDs in for my low beams and i turn my high beams on will have have a combination of HIDs and halogens?

Yes your low beams will be on with the highs.

Absolutely correct, it kind of looks a little weird when you do with the mix of a white and yellow light.

Yeah it does look funny but u could always upgrade to a silverstar for a brighter halogen

ya thats what i was worried about. i wasnt sure how it would look with the two different light colors together. does anyone have any pictures of what it looks like just so i have an idea?

I upgraded to a set of Go Recon lights to get rid of the yellow look. The passenger side has the go recon light and the driver side still has the stock halogen. I have 6k HIDS in the low beams.

The new Sylvania Silverstar zXe bulbs are a pretty close match to 5k HIDs

ya that looks good! i think i will get some 5000k for my lows and get some sylvanias for the highs. i just want the lights to be similar in color. what company does everyone perfer for their HID kits? i asked this question in another thread but i want your thoughts too.
