I just bought new tires for my truck, Toyo AT's 285 75 17. They are a 34" tire. I'll be putting them on Monday. Question for anyone who has big tires like this. How bad did these tires affect the perfomance of the truck (loss of power) and gas mileage?

i have 295 75 17 nitto trail grapplers and i didnt notice any performance loss depending on your gearing is what will depend on milage i have 4.10 gears so it really didnt change my milage also mine are mts so i wouldnt see it changing much in your case

no real power loss, a bit worse on fuel I would say, same size diameter as stock but wider and way more aggressive.......

Thanks for the replys, I guess would expect some loss in fuel economy, I can accept that. I just don't want the truck to be a dog. By the way my axle ratio is 3.73.
