I just got a OBD2 blue tooth adapter and installed Torque Pro app on my phone and was doing some 1/4 mile runs and 0-60mph times and was curious how accurate these would be?

Here's what I have and time:

14 ram
Hemi
Crew cab short bed
4x2
8spd
3.92
Stock tires and 20's

Stock except for diy CAI and a catch can.

1/4 mile - 14.99 @ 93.8mph
0-60mph - 6.2sec

Air temp was 75f.

Running 89 octane and had a 1/4 tank of fuel when I tested.

Traction control was off and tow/haul mode was on.

Does that sound about right?

This is why I don't come to this forum....
Well, it's a busy forum, so posts can get pushed off the first page and missed...

...and some folks do lead non-forum-related lives (I personally struggle to understand THAT concept, but I'm told it happens).

I also personally think the numbers look reasonable.

Found these stats online, so we know they're 110% accurate... ;)

2013 Ram 1500 Laramie Quad Cab (5.7L V-8) 0-60 mph 6.0 Quarter Mile 14.8

That said, it looks like yours kinda fall in line with those found on the Zero-to-60 website, so if we believe them, which was found with 20 seconds of research, then your numbers look reasonable - which means the data logging of the OBD sensor and app are accurate, too.

And it's quite possible that no one knows how accurate the app is. I have never done any timings because I didn't buy my truck to race it. I'm sure a lot of other people didn't either.
