So while working to replace my sending unit (please see other thread), I noticed this little drop of trans fluid at the end point of the transmission.

The old lady and I are prepared to move across state in a few months.

How much of a priority does this turn out to be?

Can I do it myself? I'm having more doubts in my ability to learn to do this stuff on my own after this weekend's sending unit debacle.

As usual thank you to everyone who responds.

Can't say what you ability is but i would replace it. You should check and see if the bushing in the tail shaft is worn also. If it's worn that will need to be replaced as well.

What is the difficultly level of doing it myself?
If installing aftermarket fog lights is 1 and rebuilding an engine or trans is 10... I feel pretty comfortable taking things out and replacing rubber and putting it back.
