fishing line, adhesive remover, and 3M eraser wheel if you want to get it done faster. won't scratch it.

easier to do it in the summer when its warm, the adhesive is already loose. If it's cold, CAREFULLY use a hair dryer. Slide the fishing line behind it and saw the emblems off. Use the wheel and adhesive remover to get the excess off. YouTube it

I use a plastic body filler spreader than the eraser wheel to get the rest of the double faced tape off.

anything flat and plastic to pry the nameplates off should work , or put some masking tape on a spackle knife and be very careful .. any scratches you put on the clearcoat should buff off easily.

fishing line work well also

here is the eraser wheel we are talking about -- you can put it on a drill

Pull badge off, peel adhesive with finger nail, get a soft rag and wd 40 ... Apply wd 40 and rub with rag. It'll go away. Then make sure you get a clean rag and wipe wd40 off
