My subscription was supposed to expire in March but is still going to this day. How long did everyone elses last? I could actually not care if it got switched off now that Anthony has left the O&A show (the only thing I listen to).

Funny you say that. Mine went on for 6 months after it was to expire, then shut down.

You'll get a letter for a renewal letter at about $190 a year. You'll balk, cancel, and the dance begins.

My wife & I now have a yearly (her Jeep & my Ram) for $45.99.

The service I like, the negotiation of price? Bizarre, to say the least.

On the truck, it is still on in the free one year. The one in the Challenger is expired, and off. However, I am using my portable Serius/XM in the car and my motorcycle. When the truck's gets shut down, I will do the same for it.

Ya but it's all the useless stations. This last weekend I think I turned on XM twice, then just went to Pandora through my cell phone.

Think my XM lasted about 2 weeks past expiration. After 3 letters they pretty much stopped trying to get me back, no calls or anything.

mine was for a year, but kept going for another 6 months past that, then when they cancelled it and called to see if I want to buy, I told them I just got the truck a few months ago and they re activated the 1 year trial for me haha. But my buddy talked them down to 50 a year, so they are completely negotiable.

I've had two ram trucks with sirius free for a year, and they have cut me off three times in each truck, about three months before my subscription ran out.
with my 2013 ram, the signal drops, sxm wants more money if you want Howard Stern, and besides the fact they cut me off twice, they wouldn't extend my subscription.
after repeated phone calls from their csrs, I told them to stick it! I'll listen to music through my iPhone!

They don't exactly inspire confidence!

I started getting harassed before the year free trial was up. Complained about a few things and really had no desire to pay for the high prices they were asking until they offered a 6 month rate about 1/2 normal price.

I wanted nothing to do with paying by card as they have a HORRIBLE reputation for automatically charging your card when your time runs up, whether you want them to or not. So we sent a check. They claim they never got it and it hadn't been cashed so against my better judgement I paid with a card with a promise (yea, right) they would not automatically charge it after 6 months.

After we paid the first time we started getting calls after only a couple of weeks saying we were overdue--this was not much more than a week after the year trial ended!

Then the first time I called the number when they wanted to keep me as a customer I had a nice clear english speaking lady to work with.

After we signed up I swear I couldn't understand whole sentences of the foreign gal they had me talk to. Be darn careful if you deal with them as she was going to sign me up for automatic renewal which means your card gets charged withought you agreeing to re-up and you have to fight them to get that restored if you want to end service. I must have asked here to repeat herself 3 times, and only after I explained what I wanted and did not want did I get the feeling we were in agreement and she wasn't trying to get me to buy into something I didn't want.

And somehow the 30 dollar deal ended up costing me 40 bucks....

I am not sure I'll re up again unless it's as cheap or cheaper. Just not worth it the programming isn't that great for me and I commonly have service disappear in the trees and hills--and we don't have many tall trees or real hills around here!

Still Going

This truck is over a year old and the Sirius still works! Same thing in my car! A few years back they had the "Free Trial" around Xmas. I activated it and it never turned off! Googled it, and turns out I'm not the only one. Seems that they just forget to cut your signal sometimes...and never shut it off. Might be worth it to do the trial and see if they forget. Yes, I feel slightly guilty...but I'm not going to correct their errors for them!
