I have been wanting to get at least a 2.5" level kit, possible 3" suspension, when i get my new 33" tires. The only thing that is stopping me is that i have to drive 80 miles a day, and i'm just a college student. I was just wondering what the impact was going to be if i put on the 2.5" or the 3" kit. i know that it is only a diff of .5" but that diff is the diff between new shocks and springs and like 400 bucks lol any input would be nice. o i get roughly 15-16.8mpg now if i really try to save money.

i have 2.5 level lift on my 2008 and i have seen no change in mpg.
my factory 20's are 33" tires but i will be putting on 34" tires and i figure i will lose 1 to 2 mpg.i dont think a 3" lift will affect that much, it will be bigger tires that will get you.when you go bigger and wider you lose rolling resistance, plus the weight of a bigger tire will cost you mpg. just my 2 cents
