got home and in the mail is a letter from chrysler for an oxygen sensor heater sense circuit. according to the letter it is for some 2011 rams with the 4.7 liter in it and also town and country vans and caravans with the 3.6 liter engines. apparently the power train control module may internally fail the oxygen sensor heater sense circuit do to a software error in the power down stratagy. basically all the dealer needs to do is reprogram the pcm of ir something was damaged replace the parts. just letting everyone be aware of this if you havent already gotten the recall.

I had mine done on monday.

Didn't need the new PCM board (no check engine lights) but they did reflash (reprogram) it.

The main difference I notice is the shifting is much smoother, as no lag between 2 and third gear like I had since it was new, very close nice shifting now, seems a bit peppier. Not sure if it has had an effect on fuel econ yet.

An improvement I would say.
