I have a 98 ram 1500 4x4 w/5.2 and 46re transmission (recently replaced). I changed the plugs a few months ago and last year replaced the wires rotor cap and rotor. I have a noticable vibration at 55 and up. Also when I accelerate the cel flashes a few times and goes off. Have noticed also recently starting the truck has started taking more longer. I dont notice a misfire but it most likely is. Anybody have a clue as to my problem? Is this a sign of the coil going bad? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Well if the CEL is flashing I would see if there is a code being stored. And go from there to start.

Any chance the coil is slightly out of alignment? Can you connect a scanner and see what code it's throwing?
