Is there a fix for a 2001 Cup Holder

My cupholder is broken at the hinge and i believe this is a common problem. I searched for a bit but I didnt find a fix for the problem. Does anyone know of one?? I would rather not have to buy a new cup holder and Im not a fan of aftermarket cupholders in my truck either.

i believe that i have seen a fix in this forumz & others
maybe 2 small washers & a bit of JB weld
