^the regular "plate" that is class IV (or is it III....don't remember....?) has 500 lb tongue weight capacity. The bigger class IV (or is it V.....? again don't remember...) has 1,0000 lb tongue weight
I'd say if you have the 1,000 lb tongue weight bigger hitch you'd be ok.
