I just installed a Rostra Converse Bluetooth device in my 2014 Ram 2500 Tradesman with the uConnect 3.0 radio. WORKS GREAT! There are videos on youtube that show an installation on a 2013 Ram 1500. Very helpful. Both videos show the dashboard and radio removal and installation of the Bluetooth device. There are two errors in the Bluetooth installation video, first showing the connection of some small plugs to the supplied harness (not needed), the second showing a red wire going to a connector under the dash. The harness wire is now blue. It does go to the pink with yellow wire on the connector which is for accessory power. I installed the microphone on the steering column at the instrument panel. The control switch was installed per the video. The installation manual is worthless i.e. connect the harness and you are done....REALLY?? It did provide a hint that the blue wire was for accessory. All in all in took about 2 hours but I took my time, first connecting everything to make sure it was working and then redoing all the wiring.

The sound is phenomenal. Music playing from my Samsung Note 2.0 sounds really good over the from car speakers. The install really looks OEM. I highly recommend this if you want Bluetooth in your car playing through the radio sound system. You will need to buy the unit with this harness part no: 250-7500-CHR6

I went with the iClever Himbox HB01. Search for it on amazon. Seems to work really well for me. Installs in like 5 minutes. Sounds great for music on my 3.0. Bluetooth also. Haven't really tried it for talking with the phone yet. Its only $35. It automatically pairs every time you start up the truck. You plug it in the aux in, in the console and the usb in the console for power. I have it 3m stuck to the left side of my console just outside of the console lid by the cup holder. Check it out if you want something that installs a little easier. Not sure how long it will hold up compared to this other set up though.
