I was told by a dodge tech that there is problems with the Key Fabs having a rolling code and sometimes your fab won't work to operate the unlock or respond at all. I have not had any problems but I was wondering if this is a real thing or just an excuse they are using to not fix dead batteries

You will find out that sometimes your FOB will not work, like when it is pouring down rain & a long way to shelter
Other times it will work perfectly under the exact same circumstances

I sometimes have to click the Lock button to get mine to work
Other times i click the Start button

If you are close to certain machines, like a CNC machines, or something simple, it loses communication between the FOB & the Ram

My garage door does the same thing, when the upstairs tenant is using their desktop computer

If you keep after your Service Writer at the Dealership, they will replace both FOBs at least one time. These FOBs can sit on the Ram Assembly Plant shelves for months
No one really knows what causes the loss of communication
