I know there are similar posts to this one, however I am looking for a straight forward answer to a question. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 Cummins 4x4. What are the largest tires that can fit, without removing anything or leveling, without any rub? I am wanting to upgrade to 18 inch wheels. I want something that will fill up the wheel wells and not rub.

Does anyone know if 315/70R17 will fit without rubbing?

Depending on backspacing you could fit 315/70/17s without rubbing(I have them on my 1500 with just a 2.5 level and get zero rub). My rims have 4.5" backspacing
