The question is this If I take my truck (2500HD 6.7 Crew Cab) and have someone re-ark the leaves 3" over stock will that be technically a 3" lift then I can add Bilstein 5100 to the front or the Bilstein/fire stone air shocks would that work without damaging anything I do tow a 30' trailer and my truck is a daily driver.
Thanks For the help:4-dontknow:

I'm not overly familiar with the 2500 suspension set up but from what I have seen they have coil suspension on the front and leafs on the back. So are you wanting to just re-ark the back leafs for 3" of lift? That would give you a ridiculous amount of rake in my opinion. If you're looking for better stance I would either go with a leveling kit or get a proper lift kit to lift the entire truck. I figure half assing it is never the way to go... especially on your $60,000 truck. And if you are towing a lot you definitely want something that's going to stand up to that and work properly.
