On my 94 1500 4x4 I noticed my leaf springs were all most flat.
I got a set off a 96 that was wrecked. They are 4+1 with a 3" block. Mine are 3+1 with a 6" block. Can I keep my block or should I use the 3" one?
And will I have to replace the shocks?
Thanks

The shocks should have more than enough travel and there shouldn't be any problem using your blocks. There may be a difference in the u-bolts. If so send me a PM because I have a set hanging on the rafter of my shed.

Well I got the spring on the driver side swapped out. I wasn't able to use my old block my u bolts were about an inch short. As a temp fix I stacked the two blocks I got with the springs. There about an inch or so shorter. Now my bumper on that side is waist high. I'm gonna take my old blocks and grind out the weld were they stacked a 2" on a 4" block. With the extra spring in my new springs it should put it close to where it was still be taller. 16" square u-bolts are hard to find locally. Napa can have some made for me but it will take a week or more. If I keep my blocks as they are I will have to much rake.
