I wouldn't say it's my preference, I'd prefer the Volant, but my truck came from the dealership with the Mopar OEM (AEM Brute Force) CAI installed. Here's the pic...

Does the carbon fiber do anything performance wise over a straight piece of pvc pipe? Carbon fiber aint cheap.. In any case it looks cool..

It wasn't just the tube but also the coupler that I changed. Kept the OEM filter and airbox. Not sre about peformance yet but I just thought the Mopar one was Fugly!

Go to summit racing look for iat relocating kit comes with sensor longer plug and wires you will have to splice it in about $60. My opinion dont put it in the pipe drill the 1/2 in hole in the air hat. Easier to plug plastic (if you change your mind) then to plug metal. I have the spectre cai and I plan on doing this.

do you guys with the volants notice any sound difference. i want a cold air intake mainly for the sound but i know the open ones aren't the greatest. but they give the better sound?
