HBS 2" leveling spacer and new Fox 2.0 shocks went on this morning. From the 2 mile drive home, the front end feels so much better!

 

How did the HBS kit work when you had it on. Any drive ability issues, wobble, etc.. And how heavy is your camper to Cause the front to go up .. FYI, nit sure this helps, but they have set ups I think for trailer hooks ups that help pull the nose down in the front...I'm trailer illiterate but just figured I'd mention it

 

So where are the pics? I just picked up (no pun intended) a 2014 CC 6.4L truck and want to level it.

Hey nice setup. I'm looking to getting the same shocks. How is it over bumps. I still have stock shocks on and it is such a rough ride

 

Night and day difference over normal road bumps. The square edged bumps still are a bit harsh, but nothing like stock. I will be ditching the stock rear shocks soon to complete the ride.

35x12.50R18 Atturo Blade MT's just went on this afternoon, so I am hoping that might take some of the harshness out of the ride

Averaging around 12 but that's going off the dash. I don't thave it calibrated for this size tires so prob a little worse then that.

 

Your mileage is probably 10% better because the bigger tires have taken you further than the odo reads.

So what is everyone recommending on the leveling kit and shocks? I just took delivery of my '15 2500 4wd that I want to level but don't want to lose ride quality like with most spacer kits.

I don't understand why you would want to do this. Then when you put a heavy load in the bed, the damn thing looks like it's squatting to take a piss.

I did it to get more clearance for the 9.6 fisher XV2 going on it. So I can have the wings back and not them hit the ground

Ok. I need some guidance. I've read and read and read some more. And I FEEL like my 2016 6.4 2500 Laramie needs a 2 inch spacer to level....ok. well I have an appt made for Thursday to have a kit put on, but I found out this shop uses rough country, which is a 2.5"


I'm concerned about being nose high when it's doNE
. . I measured, and from level ground to top of fender archñ, there is exactly 2.5 difference front to back....ok. so my question is, when you pull the front up , does the back dove down any at all, making the kit u am scheduled for too much. Or what. Please HELP! !

I don't know about your specific level kit, but I have a Rough Country 5" lift. It actually leveled the truck. It was not my intention to level it but now that it is I love it! I doubt your kit will make it nose high but maybe someone else can chime in that has used the same.

If anyone is interested, I pulled my 2" Hell Bent Steel and Fox 2.0 shocks off after a month because our truck camper made the front end run high, and is for sale. Open to offers. The shocks and the leveling kit are just sitting in the box, in the garage

 

I wish I would have seen your post earlier, ordered a 2" HBS couple days ago.. I have a 16' 2500. Without the camper, your level was ok with the 2"? Wasn't nose high? thanks.

Air Suspension in "Alternate Ride height" mode. I leave it there most of the time.... 1" lower than Normal Ride Height.

Air Suspension allows for softer ride and lower ride height while still handling the load.... Pretty cool....

Ditto. I run mine like that all the time. It's a trip when you drop a trailer on the hitch as well. It just brings it back up to level.
Mine actually drops just shy of 1.5" in alternate mode. About 2.5" in that loading mode.
