I fitted a level kit to my 2012 Ram1500 Crew Cab. It was done at the dealership with an alignment. It was immediately noticeable so i took it back and they increased the caster. It Tracks straight and doesnt pull to one side but the steering still feels lighter than before the level kit, too light for my taste. I then swapped the tires from the stock 265/70r17 to 285/70r17 Wrangler duratrac and now it feels even lighter still.

Any thoughts on what the problem is?

I just installed my RC 2.5" front and 1.75" rear kit Friday evening, had an alignment done Saturday morning at a local shop, don't notice much of a difference if any in steering lightness?

Yes, the steering wheel is easyer to turn, too easy.
