as much as i would love to lift my truck its just not in the budget right now so i figured I'd settle with leveling it for now. when i go and measure the spacing difference from the front and rear tire I'm looking at a difference of 3" in the front. so i thought i would throw this out for criticism. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-2011-RAM-1500-4X4-4WD-FRONT-LEVELING-LIFT-KIT-3-/290624344707?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ADodge|Model%3ARam+1500&vxp=mtr&hash=item43aa8f9283 please feel free to leave any opinions, on these or feel free to recommend some other kits. also i may consider going with a 3" front and a 1.5" rear. some thing like this.http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Front-2-R...ge|Model:Ram+1500&vxp=mtr&hash=item3a6a9155e9 just for the added height on top of this i would like to go from the stock wheels to 35" do you guys think 35's will fit with a level kit or would i have to lift it. also i should mention i don't go off-roading however i do have to jump curbs for work so i may need a little room for the tire to move up and down.

i went with the bilstein 5100s to level the front, and for the heck of it i swapped out the back ones too to ensure i had the best ride. they actually do a great job and really improve the ride/handling of the truck.

I have seen many other questions like yours asking about levelling the front by 3 inches and then the rear by an inch and a half. i may be missing something in all of these posts, but if you were to take that option i would think you would still have a rake of at least 1.5 inches.

if you are looking to level the truck don't do anything to the rear would be my opinion. it is my understanding that with a 2 inch lift to the front and possibly a spacer behind the rim you should be able to run 32-35's without any trouble. i'm sure a more mechanically inclined member will chime in, but if i'm wrong about the front and rear lift to level i'd love to know what i'm missing.

yes your are correct i would have a rake in the back if i went any higher but that's ok I'm just looking for overall lift, if i went that way. if not then I'd just 3" lift the front to make it level.

in my first post i was looking to level the front, however if anyone has tried the rear lift kits as well and had no problem with them, then I'd go for the full kit and just lift the truck.
